GENERAL QUESTIONS:

REBATE REQUIREMENTS:

What do I need to submit to get the Rebate Offer Exclusively for Basic Users?
Please make sure that you have included four items to ensure quick delivery of your rebate check. They are:
  1. The rebate form
  2. Proof of Purchase Tab #3 (located on page two in your User Guide)
  3. Receipt of purchase (photocopies accepted)
  4. Proof of prior ownership (either a photocopy of your previous version of your CD-Rom or Printout if the "About QuickBooks" screen viewed from your previous product showing which version of QuickBooks Basic you previously owned)
If I'm asked to send the original "Proof of Purchase Tab," what does that mean?
This means you need to send the Proof of Purchase Tab #3 located on page two of the Quick Startup and Reference Guide. The Proof of Purchase Tab will be labeled as a "Proof Of Purchase" with the name of the product you purchased. Please DO NOT send in UPC as proof of purchase. If you are unsure, call the customer service number on your rebate form.

Proof of Purchase Tab #1 and #2 will not be accepted for this promotion

I downloaded my product directly from Intuit and did not receive the Proof of Purchase Tab #3. What do I do?
When you ordered your product, you received a confirmation e-mail that will qualify as your Proof of Purchase. Please send in your completed rebate form, the confirmation e-mail, and Proof of Prior Ownership to the address on your rebate coupon.
I lost my receipt. How do I get my rebate?
Most stores can reprint you a receipt, especially if you paid with a credit card and know the exact date of your purchase.
How do I obtain a copy of the packing slip for a rebate?
Please visit our Intuit Contact Center to request a copy of your packing slip. If possible, please include your Order Number so that we may promptly process your request. To get your Order Number, please call (800) 446-8848.
What is the Proof of Prior ownership for an upgrade rebate?
This is a rebate for previous users of QuickBooks. Unfortunately, new users of QuickBooks do not qualify for this rebate.

Any one of the following items will be accepted as proof of prior ownership:

  • A photocopy of a previous version's CD-ROM or diskette (photocopying will not damage your CD/diskette).
  • A printed screen shot from within the program if you have a preinstalled version.
I have a preinstalled version of software, how can I get a print screen shot from within the program?
Please follow these steps to print a screen display:

Any one of the following items will be accepted as proof of prior ownership:

  • Open up the preinstalled version of QuickBooks
  • Press ALT+Print Screen
  • Open up a program, such as "MS Paint or MS Word"
  • From the Menu Bar, choose Edit, and then Paste
  • Print the document from "MS Paint or MS Word"
I bought more than one of the same products that a rebate was offered on. Can I submit for more than one rebate?
Many rebates have a limit on the number of claims that can be submitted on a single promotion. To find out the specific rules for the promotion you are submitting, please review the "REBATE CERTIFICATE RULES" on your rebate form or Web site.
The product that I purchased has two rebates. Intuit offers one and one is offered by the store at which I bought the product. May I submit copies of the receipt and required information?
When there are multiple rebates available for the same product, please check for the specific rules of the promotions. To find out the specific rules for the promotion you are submitting, please review the "REBATE CERTIFICATE RULES" on your rebate form or Web site.
I forgot to send in for my rebate and now it has expired. If I send it in late, will I be able to get my rebate?
Promotions such as rebates are carefully planned for very specific time frames. If the postmark date has passed for your rebate, unfortunately you will not qualify. We are unable to accept late rebate submissions. We appreciate you as a valued customer, we hope that you will continue to choose Intuit for your financial software needs, and take advantage of our rebate programs in the future.
I found out that my rebate submission is did not qualify. What do I need to do to receive my rebate?
If your rebate did not qualify due to missing information such as original Proof of Purchase Tab or a copy of your receipt, please submit the required missing information, along with your name, address, phone number, promotion name and tracking number to the following address:
Intuit Resubmissions
PO Box 8800
